Perpetual Battle? It will be the way you fight it!
The Times reports here on some blurb from our government ministers on the fight with Islamic extremists.
According to "Mr Woolas, the Minister for Community Cohesion," (Do you know I never knew we had such a ministry? What a load of rubbish!) The fight will be perpetual and take at least a generation. Well I always thought perpetual meant forever, so we've got an idea of the level of intellect here. Having said that of course, he's probably right, with people like him in the government victory isn't assured and the fight will be perpetual assuming of course they can continue to fight, otherwise we'll be defeated.
Apparently Mr Woolas was addressing a Muslim audience in Bolton as part of a series of meetings in which "ministers try to rebuild relations with Muslim communities after police investigating an alleged plot to blow up aircraft arrested 24 people in East London, High Wycombe and Birmingham." Now correct me if I'm wrong, the people who tried to blow up the aircraft were Muslims (or masquerading thereas) so really it's up to the Muslim community to rebuild relations with the government, by speaking out against these actions and distancing themselves from them.
Instead people attempt to commit atrocious terrorist acts when they are properly arrested and charged, our government goes sucking up to their "community". What a disgrace! With this sort of behaviour it will be a perpetual battle.
Apparently there's more: "Ruth Kelly, the Secretary of State for Communities" (Another useless job! What a waste of our money!) "will announce tomorrow that a body has been set up to promote better race and community relations in England." Surely this must mean the commission for racial equality has failed, is it going to be abolished? I'll wager not, so yet another taxpayer funded body, more of our money wasted. It will have a: "dozen commissioners" and be called: "the Commission on Integration and Cohesion".
Here are three Franco rules on Integration and Cohesion, I feel I can spout on this with some authority as I have (as I consider it) an impressive immigrant bloodline going back well over 150 years.
1) Learn and speak English.
2) Respect and obey the rule of law.
3) Show some common sense. In other words don't be insular, you've come to England to live here and create a better life for yourself and your family. If you can't bear the English and think of us as untouchable infidels, why are you staying here?
If you can't be bothered with those three, you can have as many commissions and laws and government rubbish as can be come up with. But you'll never get integration and cohesion.
